My cat dragged in this snake last night?

My cat dragged in the little guy in the picture, and I am keeping an eye on a laceration my cat gave him, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is. He is clearly a juvenile, if it helps.

I am from the Omaha, Nebraska area (Sarpy County), and my best guesses are that he is a brown snake, a glossy snake (though they are not generally found in my area), or a prairie king snake. I'd definitely like to know so that I can meet his needs while his wound heals up!
