Hi there,

My cat had 3 kittens recently but she was ill during the pregnancy (not really badly ill, but she was sneezing quite a bit). She must have caught cat flu from one of the cats at the stud house, even though she is fully vaccinated, which I didn't realize could happen anyway. Is this common?

Anyway 2 of the kittens have had their eyes sealed shut at various points. I used tea on the eyes then bought antibiotics from the vet. They are only 4 and a bit weeks old at the moment, I'm hoping once they stop suckling and eat cat food they'll get better. I was hoping to keep a girl for breeding but will she always get ill now?

Also what should I do re vaccinations for the kittens?

Will vaccinating them at 10 then 12 weeks make them more ill as the vaccination gives them a small deposit of the flu?

Should I wait until they're a few months older and their immunity is better before I do it?

Please help.
Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
