As mentioned previously, I cannot provide much help to anyone here on caravanning, as I’m new to the game. Instead of just sucking up information, USING and taking from this forum, I would also like to give something back to the forum and members, as there are other areas where I can help members by sharing my own knowledge and experience.

Getting a bee in my bonnet over another thread, has prompted me to post a little about snakes, as this is a very real concern for us as a group, and snakes are a passion of mine.

We are ALL going to encounter snakes at some stage in our travels. We have all been in close proximity to snakes (whether we realise it at the time or not). Here in Australia snakes are part of the furniture we must learn to co-exist with, and there are endless misconceptions, myths, fears and stories revolving around snakes.
