We just had a new store open here in Cheyenne, WY and I got to see it today--it's been open around a week.
I can't say that I have any major complaints. One baby water dragon looked a bit peaked, but it also looked like it hadn't been that way for very long--perhaps a problem that was present when it arrived, looked to be due to a very minor amount of face-rubbing started to become infected. I mentioned it, and they passed the word on about it--we shall see how they handle it.
The other herps had good weight and condition, and were behaving normally. Babies looked like they'd been established for at least a short time before arriving, and they carried actual pinhead crickets for the smaller lizards and frogs. They did carry baby iguanas. Once we have our local club better established, we can approach them on that issue.
I was fairly well impressed by the condition of the animals--long tailed grass lizards and green anoles all had intact tails, and decent weight. Very rare to see those species arrive in such good condition here, unfortunately. Cages were clean, all had temperature and humidity guages, heat lights, and what I assume was UVB lighting (flourescents).
They stocked Mice on Ice in 3 sizes, live mealworms, zophobas, and fruit flies--quite nice.
