err... don't get me wrong, i adore reptiles and think that many of them can make wonderful pets.
many, but not all, and they are certainly not for all ages, in my opinion. supervised or not, your son or daughter could suffer quite a grievous injury before you'd even have time to react.
i hope you and yours are not darwin awards candidates in the making. if you've misled yourself by anthropomorphizing these animals and thus arriving at the conclusion that they "love" you or your children, you are sadly mistaken.
