I work with kids that have mental disabilities and I assure you that many would be offended by what you have said. I am of a much lower class than "retarted" people. You, on the other hand are an adult posting on the "herps and KIDS" forum that your toddler owns an alligator. The only reason I came here is because two adults who also should not be posting here mentioned my name (in good humor). I think if you are looking for an example of humans acting stupid, click here. It's nothing personal, man! At least I didn't criticize your irresponsible parenting. I even said you could do what you want with your kids. Exposing kids to reptiles is a great idea, but use some smaller herps (you aren't from Australia by any chance, are you?). I just think anyone who puts a leash on a reptile obviously doesn't know much about them. They are not like dogs and cats, requiring human companionship. They don't cuddle. They don't care whether you love them or not. They want their food, water, mates, optimum climactic situations, and simply to be left alone. on one hand you could even say they are not even pets. I consider them live specimens for observation. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
