I just found my young python after she was lost for two weeks. They love to be where it is warm-- If you have baseboard heaters, or hot water pipes, they like to crawl inside or around them. mine went in through a hole in the wall at one end of a baseboard heater, then crawled out when she got hungry. You can draw lines of flour or baking soda on the floor to see if the snake has crossed them at night, or leave out bait (dead mouse) inside a milk bottle overnight. Good luck!
