Lenny and Lizzy just mated again for several hours yesterday and I hope to get some "lizlettes" soon. Lenny (male) is the one with the pronounced stripes, larger head and thicker tail. Lizzy has more bland features but more color variations on her sides. As a general rule in the animal kingdom, the males tend to be brighter and more pronounced than the female. As for breeding I haven't tried that, but they seem to be doing fine without my assistance. I haven't had any experience with breeding long tails so I can't offer any suggestions except for keep the eggs moist but not wet. Ambient temp should be around 80 and 60-70 percent humidity. Be sure to isolate the eggs if there is a threat of other insects or predators in the same tank. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
