A local pet store employee found an adandoned female Leopard gecko amoung their merchandise: seems healthy, no sign of obvious illness or malnutrition, bright eyes, fat tail, alert, just a little cold & seemingly annoyed at her situation...my husband, who's there right now buying crickets, was pretty much tackled by the sales manager, He says when he picked her up she "gurgled" (??), but otherwise seemed rather happy to have a warm hand to curl up in.

1.Any quick care/set-up tips?
2.We know they are similar to African Fat-Tails, but need less humidity. Crickets/Mealies.
3.Will a 10 gallon starter tank, with repti-carpet, water dish & hiding hole do for a few days?
4.Local Reptile Vet being called.
5. Keeping her in a different location in the house, away from our established family/resuced reptiles.

Am I missing anything?

Depending on her health and after we watch her for a month or so, we may be adopting her out a LOCAL Akron/Canton, Ohio area person. We will keep updates & pictures.

Feel free to e-mail me @ sanderson22@neo.rr.com or cat@ndiu.com

What a weird day.

I so need sleep.

Oh, and I am a "grandma"...my long-tail IS gravid. Yay!
