het=Heterozygous. Heterozygous means that the animal carries one dominant (usually a normal) gene and one recessive gene. For example, het for albino would mean that the animal has one normal dominant gene and one recessive albino gene. Therefore, the animal still appears normal since the normal gene is dominant, but it can produce albinos if bred with another het or an albino. Possible het can result from a clutch of something like one het bred with a normal, or two hets bred to together. In that case, since some of the animals are fully normal and some are heterozygous, you can not say for sure which is which.
