Some take longer than others to start feeding, so I wouldn't worry too much. Try offering crickets or worms. My old painted turtle LOVED them! Also try turtle pellets/sticks. I don't know that much about turtles, but that's what I feed my painteds. One went from 2inches to almost 6 in just two months! I was shocked!
