Looking for a natural way to contol gophers. Would like to release native species into my garden and a nearby canyon as a means of rodent control. i.e. no poisonous species native to San Diego. Is it possible? Where can snakes be obtained

Gopher snakes are native I believe. I would call animal control or call any rural area to see if any wild caught snakes have been obtained. Then pic them up and let one slither down a gopher hole. Good luck.
