Hi
I have seen your question, i hope this helps you. I keep my ACF (x.leavis, normal, albino, gold, reticulated albino & melanistic)in the following set ups. I use a 24,24,48 plastic vat for 4-5 adults,i do not use a filter but have a flow system ( if you need me to i will scan the original plans for you & post or e-mail them to you), the temperature is controled by the green house being heated in cooler months & shaded in cooled in warmer months, this is usally at 24-28 c with a winter level of between 18 c - 20 c. I do maintain my males & females seperate, this is soley by choice, i have maintained both sexes together & had no problems,AFC will eat any thing they can fit in there mouths as a guide, large individuals may harras smaller ones resulting in stress.I feed my animals on pellets, crickets, cleaned garden worms, pinks, mini mealworms(occasionaly), frozen blood worm & lean beef heart with a liquid vitamin supplemnt given every two weeks.Feeding is done every two days for adults & every day for young & sub adult animals. I have found that animals feed every days when young upto about 18-24 of age attain a greater adult size as adults comparible in size to WC animals. The breeding response and result tends to be better from larger animals. if you would like any further help please let me know.

Ian
