Posted by: Morgana at Wed Aug 18 01:42:35 2004 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Morgana ] Thursday my entire station (police) was put on full emergency alert status because of Hurricane Charley. (I'm in Manatee County Florida) My Ball Python rescue, Monty, had started wheezing ever so slightly, so I left him at the vet's office before going on duty because I knew we'd be on duty 24/7 for possibly a week. Our county took minor losses (Thank the powers that be), so I was allowed off duty Tues. am. I called the vet to be enroute to pick Monty up, and they told me they lost him! Talk about being upset, oh man I was already stressed as it was. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
