Or atleast I hope so lol. Someone here found a ringneck like last week and since I am Mr. Ringneck to most people here, it was brought to me. On the first day I had it, it ate 3 red backed salamanders. It is a Northern, but something caught my eye about this little 9 inch snake while I was holding it. Spots, in a place where I have NEVER seen them before, at the bottom of the neck ring, there is a small line, leading to two spots, on each side of the ring. I have literally seen thousands of ringnecks, WCs, pics, CBs, from hundreds of different localities, NOT ONE has ever had the spots like this one.

My camera sucks, so I doubt there would be any good pics coming from me of this snake, but I used some kind of computer art and drew some stuff on a ringneck pic, that would show what this one looks like.

If anybody can accept and download BMP. files, drop me an email and let me know and I'll email the pic to you. I can't paste the pic in the email for some reason, so it will be sent as an attached file.
