Watersnake Escapes

I was just bringing my fresh caught brown banded watersnake and I opened the bucket and it got out. It crawled into the register. Right when I was going down stairs to get a screwdriver to see if I could get him out and he crawled out the vent in the hallway. Needless to say I did not tell my mom about this but it was amazing how fast he got there.
