RE: spotted turtles

Sounds like my spotters aren't unusual. In the early spring mine were extremely active basking and eating. Once the warm summer rolled in they dug into my bog and went into a summer hibernation. Sometimes I would dig them out to feed them they would eat but dig right back in afterwards. They really haven't eaten in about two months on a consistent basis. I know they are extremely heatlthy though are heavy and colorful. I guess they are just a finicky species of turtle, exact opposite of my woods.
