Hooch,
The input by Chris H. is on the mark. In the wild, C. bottae over winters both singly and in groups.

I have had two or more specimens together during brumation since 1962 and never had problems. Currently have two adult males with 5 adult females and soon to add another adult female. I keep small subadult and juvenile boas in separate enclosures.

All females in reproductive condition will be removed to a separate enclosure before mid February since I wish to make specific rather than random crosses.
