Posted by: sschind at Fri May 13 21:24:58 2005 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by sschind ] Asking how they can afford to do it is not the right question. $350.00 for a snake that may have cost little or nothing to produce has nothing to do with can he afford to do it. If a guy has a couple of albino males and several het females that he has had for a while, has produced babies (both hets and albinos) for the past couple of years and sold them at high prices he could very easily have made his money back on his original investment and has decided he wants to move all his animals quickly rather than sit on them for a while at twice the price. Could also be that he isn't caught up in the money thing. A better question would be WHY is he doing it. He could be scamming or he could be just as I said. Truth be told If I were going to scam someone I would not sell at that low of a price because it raises a lot of flags for some people. Better to list them at say $600.00 or even $500.00 it might be easier to convince people of your story. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
