Just some observations of Clyde, in the few weeks he's been living here:

Before I arrived on the scene, Clyde was kept on a diet of crickets in a 20 gallon aquarium. We have him in a much large enclosure that includes a hide (something his old tank lacked).

Now that he's with us, he isn't very interested in most of the fruit or vegetables we've offered; he did eat a grape the other night.

We've kept him on familiar food (crickets) while we experiment with his palate.

He enjoys basking with his front feet dangling over the edge of his water bowl, and he sometimes lies in the water for short periods. I sincerely doubt he ever had significant water in his old tank at the pet store.

For the most part, Clyde is diurnal, though he does sometimes come out at night.

He is becoming accustomed to our voices; I hope to begin building him a larger habitat soon.
