Guys, what's happening to this reptile rescue in Cincinatti is terrible! They're getting shut down just because a few ignorarnt people with unbased reptile fears (flamed by the media of course) are crying to their zoning board about the dangers of having a reptile rescue in their community.

The zoning board is caving to the reptile-haters and shutting down the rescue. Please take the time to read the story. More importantly, do what I did and contact the zoning board members and let them know how much their decision upsets you as a concerned citizen. Names, phones, and emails for all the officials involved are listed on the link. No need to be nasty, but a serious email copied to all of the officials about your concern over their decision may go a long way.

If this is allowed to happen it will create legal precedant that may pave the way for us all to lose our reptile rights, whether we run a rescue, or just keep a couple herps as pets. Please get involved guys!
