I have to side with Coyote on this one. Wild igs are fine to photograph, but you'd be better of catching neumonia than catching a wild ig. Captive igs have been known to tail whip right through a pair of jeans and break the skin, or bite and tug chunks out of people's faces. I'm talking about CAPTIVE igs doing this. You don't want to take on one in the wild. It will be a match that's not good for you or the ig.

If you do decide to catch one after taking pictures, don't use the entire roll of film. That way the paramedics can photograph your injuries when they get there.
