Didn't see your response on 11/24 until this evening. You can see photos of Raab female #1 on my son's forum at www.rubberboas.com.

Not qualified to even hazard an opinion about your question on life style and longest lived species of snake. The species has a fairly low, mean annual reproductive output of about on 1 1/3 to 1 neonate per adult pair which is consistent with long lived species.

In your opinion, because of the type of life style rb's live, is it possible that they are the longest lived snake?

Again, I'm blown away by this. I thought 40 year old rosys were something, but this is unreal.
