I have been feeding my frogs feeder goldfish and occasionally rosies their whole life. My frogs are perfectly happy and healthy. I give them a dozen or so each per week. My girls are 3 years old and they have never had a problem, besides trying to eat rocks. They also enjoy catching crickets on top the water. I dump a dozen in and they go crazy.
I don't think feeding canned dog food is good for them. So many dog foods are made from left overs and fillers. Not much nutrition for the frog. There is a type of canned food that is safe for frogs to eat. It can only be bought at a vet clinic though. It is made by Hills Science Diet called a/d. I feed it to toads/frogs if they are sick and not eating well, but it is mixed with vits and meds.

If you add a variety to their diet they should be okay. try feeding them some floating foods or frozen foods as well so they are not eating so much fish. An occasional pinkie might be a treat for them. I give mine one every couple of months.
