how can you breed for this particular morph or any other for that matter and hope to achieve it?

The only thing you have to do is pick specimines that exibit the trait you are looking for.

Is it mostly chance?

Yes, but no lol......depending on what you mean. If you breed two flames together, you WILL get flames, but you can get many others as well......so there is where chance comes in.

Is it mostly chance? As well as selective breeding?

Exactly!

Yeah it would be so much simpler if they were dominant/recessive.

I would say if yopu want more reponses than this i would go and ask in the rhac forum. These morph forums are dominated by snake keepers lol.
