Open call for Chameleon photos

PHWyvern Feb 05, 2005 07:12 PM

This is open call applies to all chameleon forums/subforums.

This is not a cutthroat competition for only 'professional quality' photos.

The selection of the photos used on the various forums will be based on the clarity of the photo and the appropriateness of the subject matter, and where they may best fit in among the forums (kingsnake.com, kingsnake canada, and kingsnake europe).

In other words, don't take it too seriously and get all bent out of shape. We just want people to enjoy sharing their photos in a fun atmosphere.

RULES FOR THIS OPEN CALL REQUEST:

Photos MUST be uploaded to the PetHobbyist photo galleries and then posted here. Photos submitted that currently reside on websites other than the PetHobbyist Photo gallery cannot be accepted. http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/

Photos should be clear and in focus with the animal/object preferably the subject of attention.

Watermarks on the photos are acceptable as long as they are minimal in size and do not noticeably detract from the photo itself.

Photos should range between 160x120 and 640x480 pixels (photo size). I do not pysically edit the photos when I place a photo on a forum's page - I merely play with the width/height tags in the html to make the photo fit. So, in order to spare those individuals with dial-up connections - photos that have insanely large files cannot be accepted due to the longer time it would take for the forum page to load that photo. It is a good idea to resize any photo you want to submit prior to uploading it to the photo gallery.

The Terms of Service of this site still apply. All submissions must be photos that belong to you. You may not use another person's copyrighted photo.

I have found what I needed for the KS cham forums. There are still the europe and canada forums and I think there is enough left over here to fill that need too when I finally get around to those forums.
