Posted by: lindamarie at Sat Feb 12 19:18:36 2005 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by lindamarie ] My neighbor's pond is frequented by large turtles, two days ago we witnessed a slider (large) laying eggs in the pond (because of the hurricanes the "turtle ramp" has recently collapsed, so the turtle probably couldn't get out to lay the eggs). Knowing they would not survive in the water, my husband and I rescued them from the pond fish and put them in sand in a homemade incubator. We doubt any will survive... but does anyone have any tips to save these 21 little turtles? Thanks [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
