Hey guys, We're looking for any pictures of your big herps at maturity. Our rescue would love to use them to promote responsible ownership of these guys.
Our nonprofit reptile rescue has a huge heart for huge herps. If you own any, I'm sure you know how they often get a bad rap because many people who buy one don't do their homework before taking it home. When the situation grows out of hand, the responsible owners end up getting a bad name because the bad owners end up on the news.
Our rescue is working on creating some visuals to display on our table at upcoming reptile shows. We are looking for some pictures of big herps at maturity like burms, boas, retics, iguanas, monitors, Sulcatas, sliders, or any other herp that comes to mind when you think of stuff the average owner does not take care of properly because of adult size issues.
We are not putting down big herps, just promoting responsible ownership. Too many people come home with burms, iguanas, etc having no idea how big they'll get. We just want to have some visuals on our rescue table showing their adult sizes so even the idiots at the herp shows will know what they're getting into.
If you'd care to lend some of your own pics to the cause, please email me at: info@forgottenfriend.org . Thanks! ----- Jesse Rothacker Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary
