Only real problem I see is the females haven't got alot of room to run from this guy if he decides it's breeding season. I don't have any experience in this area yet, but have read that they can be persistant to the point of stressing the females. Maybe wait till they are in the bigger tank. If he proves to be a pest keep them seperate till you want to breed them. If not house them together. Good luck.
