I've had a redfoot tortoise for almost 2 years now.I bought her 2 years ago from a small pet store that kept her in a guinea pig cage. I didn't know much about redfoot tortoises, I was actually looking for a smaller tortoise, a greek or russian maybe, but this one caught my attention. The brightly colored face and shell, the outgoing personality, I instantly fell in love with it. Riggy, my toroise, is the most amazing pet I've ever owned. I've put countless amounts of time and money into making it happy and creating a liveable environment, but unfortunately, I cant keep it any longer. I live in New York and we've just had a tough winter. Riggy got a respiratory infection and although we were able to cure it, the vet explained to me that they weren't meant to live here. Riggy needs to live somewhere warm, where she can walk around outside and maybe even be with other tortoises. I'm not sure exactly how I can do this, but if anyone has any suggestions or maybe room for another tortoise I'd really appreciate a reply back. I love my tortoise so much, and I'll miss it like crazy but I know whats best for her. If you would like pictures please email me at ginabivona@yahoo.com

Thank you,

Gina
