NEVER put T. carolina in with your redfoots.. (they are the only turtle that get's sick being around each other).. I may be exaggerating.. you get the idea! I don't have anything in with mine.

I would plant clover.. and provide their "humid-hide" with cypress mulch.. it retains moisture well. You can't make it too wet for redfoot tortoises.
