Okay, so lets not worry about the cats and start worrying about the snake. I PROMISE, if your snake and one fo your cats get in a fight, the claws will most certainly win. I've put hundreds of dollars into vet bills to save one of my ball python from a cat attack, and my cat is only about 4 pounds! Make sure the lid is secure from them!
