Posted by: holmesese at Mon May 30 17:27:33 2005 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by holmesese ] My male giant day gecko has been eating his own tail, it started with a small injury (I believe from some unsecured bamboo) At first his tail was kind of mashed at the end and he ate that off. After he bit it off the wound appeared just like a normal tail break off and the tail began to regenerate.
