Hello all! I posted a message last Sunday because I couldn't decide on my perfect tortoise match. My baby redfoot is due to be here tomorrow morning. (I will post pics as soon as it arrives) I have it's home all set up and the beautiful beginning of a tortoise garden outside. But here's my big question...Do tortoises travel well? I am on the road 1 or 2 nights a week. I bought a huge plastic carrier and a mini clamp light/thermometer in case I could carry it with me. I have the coconut and moss substrate along with a feeding and soaking dish and a moist hideaway for a travel world. It would be in my hotel during the day so I could be with it at night. Maybe it's selfish I just thought it might be nice to have a road companion every now and then! I've heard that some reptiles enjoy different environments as long as they have a familiar habitat to rest in. Is this true of redfoots? If not I suppose I can leave the joy of my new addition to my husband a couple of nights a week!!! Thanks in advance for any input or opinions.

Sam
