One of my toads got out of the tank, I think - he was just gone in the morning when I came down to see. There was a small gap at the back, about .5cm, and he was a good climber.
I realise he's probably a gonner, but the thing is I can't find any trace of him!

What are the chances he was eaten by his 3 buddies? Normally he's the biggest and most aggressive, plus I fed them all as soon as he went missing and the other 3 were pretty hungry, so I'm thinking it's unlikely he was eaten.

It's a long shot I know, but how long could he survive out of his tank, hidden somewhere in my living room or kitchen? I always assumed that if by some chance they got out they really wouldn't get far.

If i could just find a body I'd feel better about it
I'm pulling all the furninture out tonight - if theres advice or info you can give me it'd be much appreciated!

Ta!
