Hi!

This is my first post here.

Ive had lots of painter turtles in the past and I dont have any questions about care or anything.

I recently obtained two new little painter turtles and one of them has an abnormal number of scutes. The shell of this little guy is also humped. I figure its because of the extra scute but I thought I would check. He or she, not really sure, has 14 center scutes on the carapace instead of 13. I was wondering if there is a term for this?

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks so much!
