All,
I attempted to place my two WC P. laticaudas (both females) together, this time, I placed the first WC into the second WC's cage and the first one was still the aggressor. However, the second WC which is now much more acclimated to being in captivity also started to lash her tongue and sway her tail but would still back down. She even attempted to lick the tail of the other one but the first one still 'barked.' The first WC laid an egg yesterday, this is her second egg in two months which I feel are duds because she doesn't have a mate. Anyways, is it possible for the first WC who just laid an egg to be more aggressive during the period in which she develops her eggs? Should I reattempt to place them together again or shall I just give up as they will probably never be compatible? Thanks!
