well, unless someone can contradict me on this, you can basically use the "no 2 males rule" for about all reptiles, well lizards at least.
UVB: 5%
in my experience(i have bred them but had no reason to hatch them besides the eggs dried before i got to them)the males have larger heads but that isnt very accurate unless you know what size a females head is. personally, be4 i got into them i had the pet store sex them and so far it has always been accurate. (that pet place). make sure you have a long style aquarium 20g or larger. breeding them is VERY easy (as far as i have experienced) but they all seem to have a lot of parasites so you should get them checked by a vet or do it yourself. they are about 13 inches long BUT most of that is there tail. their bodies are as long as an anole body (carolinensis) but usually more slender and there heads are smaller. they also can be kept with anolis carolinensis and a. segrei but do not put them with anolis equestris despite what anyone tells you! your little pet with most likely get eaten, if not then they will get killed.(either by the knight or by stress) i am not sure what you past herp experience is, but longtails are fairly easy to keep and i have had some that like to be handled... so, good luck!
