I've had a few but I wouldn't qualify my self an expert on these. Mine ate skinks and glass lizards. I have seen two that fed on pinkies.
From my experience and others a good substrate seems necessary as they are usually quite shy. Mine were kept on Cypress mulch. Temps were typical for any Fla snake.
