My experience with adult male cherryheads is that I could NEVER put them together. My group (2.2) was kept in a large, planted yard with plenty of cover but whenever the two males were placed together, they would immediately engage in aggression and serious fighting. So they were always kept apart.

But my male Colombian redfoots would never, under any circumstances, engage in aggressive behavior.
