Sorry, been home sick last couple of days. My co-worker said at the time it was "so big" holding his hands apart about 30". I have seen one when I was a kid that was bigger. Only the head poking up though the rest of him was hidden, thought it was a body in the pond until it moved. If the shell tends to smooth out over time that would explain it and the the rest seems in line. Thanks.
