Anyone noticing if there is lots of shedding going on with your painted this time of year? My western always sheds scutes at this time of year & he's looking really good right now.

I almost had a female for him. Someone I know moved away & wanted to give up her female western painted. I just couldn't do it though, I don't want any breeding going on so I helped her find her turtle a good home. She's doing great in her new home, I just didn't want it to be my home.
