David posted a question here, and I responded with a short, but well thought out answer. I did not say that they are docile all tame, and if you actually read the original posters question he said he was well aware of what has been said in the past in regard to individual temperment. My response was as accurate as you can get. In general rosy boas are indeed quite docile. And yes, they generally are very good feeders that can often develope a very strong feeding response. So to answer your comment, when proper precautions are not taken this can led to their keepers getting bit. Now, you responding to my response to David and sarcasticly addressing me as Dr James and contradicting my response out of spite, does not seem like a very good way to make friends here. I realize you may have been irritated that you were caught in a lie in the previous thread, but that was your fault not mine. In addition, high jacking Rick's thread was not very nice either. He was correct in that it was a Pastel amel. While it looks snowish, it is not a snow unless you can prove it out. The eyes are unaffected by the Whitewater amel gene, and the amel gene, and the amel gene that you work with is the Whitewater amel gene. If you want to call it a cotton candy, that's fine, but it does not change anything.
Anyway, from previous conversations, you seem like a very nice guy, but telling me that snake died last year and then telling me that it you have it and you can send me pics of the head is very odd. One of those stories is not true, and I am still trying to figure out what is. Keep in mind that at this point I do not expect that I will ever know for sure what the actual truth is in regard to this snake. It is quite unfortunate, but I will just have to live with that now won't I. ----- James Wilson Pacific Coast Herpetological www.pacificcoastherpetological.com
