One of the nicest types of rosies are Mexican rosies. They have always been super docile for me and others I know who keep them. I think they are a nice rosy to start with.

Coastal rosy boas are nice too generally speaking. They get alot bigger than Mexican rosies.

For me, the ones that can't seem to differentiate my hand from food have always been CA desert rosies, including the Whitewater strains and similar types. And not all of them, but enough of them.

The mid-Baja types are really aggressive feeders and seem to thrive no matter what you do wrong or right.
