I keep my herpele's in a tall sweater box with a premixed and bagged sandy loam mixed with some coconut husk. I keep them in my iguana room which is always at 73 to 80 degrees depending on the time. I don't use heaters under one side because I don't need to, and don't know if caecillians actually utilize a supplemental heat source. I feed mine medium crickets, about 15 to 20 per animal every two or three weeks.
