Joe:

These are easy keepers. I use the ZooMed crushed walnut substrate. The cage has a hot spot at about 95F and so cooler areas that are closer to room temp ~75F. I do have their lights on a 12 hr on/off cycle, not much more than that is required. Just keep them far apart during feeding, they will get very excited and bite each other.
