What would be a good first aboreal hot snake?

Currently i'm keeping copperheads (c.contortric and c. pictigaster) but i would like to expand the hot selection a little with some aboreal vipers.
I have been keeping boigas for years and i'm pretty familiar with agressive aboreal species. So i'm not completely a rookie *G*

What would you suggest? Was thinking about B. Schlegeli, but heard something about they litteraly would throw themselves of their cage to tag you??
Was also thinking about Trimeresurus Popeorum??

Thanks
