He seems to be very sick. When I feed him, his throat bloats up and he appears to be gagging or throwing it up. Eventually it goes down but he is exhausted and has to rest at the bottom of the tank, eyes closed and very still. I have switched to very thin red worms so as not to hurt his throat. Shell looks wrinkled with a few black spots on his back (small holes?)and he looks as if he is malnourished. Help if anyone knows what I can do. I have cleaned the 50 gallon tank, turned up the heat to 83 and he is basking under the heat lamp on his platform. He also is having trouble swimming. Seems to have no control of his body. This has happened overnight it seems. I love this little guy and I can't find anyone in our town who knows what more I can do.
