Posted by: Tadpoleo at Wed Nov 30 16:11:38 2005 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Tadpoleo ] I have a pair of albino ACFs that I've owned for about 6 months and they have grown to maturity (where I can now see the black nuptual part on the male's arms now, and the cloaca of the female). I have both of them housed together in a 55 gallon tank with plenty of hiding spaces, no filtration (but daily siphoning), water temp kept at 70 degrees, and quality of the water maintained by applying Amquel Plus once a week. For about 3 weeks now, they have not been eating too well, but their behavior is no different other than them occasionally amplexing. Their weight hasn't even fluctuated, but they are just not eating-----I always hand feed them worms, crickets, waxworms occasionally, and they were always very aggressive eaters. Should I be worried, or is this something that is happening because of the winter season and/or their maturing/matured bodies?
