Redfoot size...do I have some gargantuan species?

First off...they do not get fed freely and only get fed the foods they should eat! Second, neither tort is pyramided, so I know there's nothing wrong there. Plus...I do know that captive bred/kept in habitats do grow faster/gain more weight rapidly...

That said, my four-year-old redfoot is 8 1/4" SCL and weighs over 5 pounds. My 8-month-old hatchling is 4" SCL and weighs 200 grams. Are they out of whack or what? Now, they DID come from the same breeder, so maybe that's where the connection comes in, but jeez...I'm going to end up with Galapagos sized torts by the time they are fully grown!
